| The USD Music Department invites applicants for a full-time benefits-based non-tenure track Teaching Professor with specializations in wind band and string ensemble rehearsal/conducting, the former of which would work closely as an associate conductor of USD’s Wind Ensemble with the head director. Further skills sought include music theory and collaborative piano, which may also include coaching of vocal students. The position may also include service in the areas of concert planning/design, coordination of curriculum across sections/levels, and recruitment for the string ensemble and wind ensemble.
This position will commence in fall 2026.
