Detailed Description:

The Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) is the only pre-licensure nursing program in the School of Nursing.  It is a demanding program with enrollment of 120 students taught by an average of 60 full-time and part time faculty. 

The administrative responsibilities include: supervising the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs; scheduling and assigning faculty to courses; facilitating the admission and progression of students; writing for student scholarships, loans, and grants; tracking pertinent student statistics and graduation completion times; updating Program Handbooks in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Masters programs; monitoring and reporting certification scores and alumni clinical positions and accomplishments; and participating in program faculty and staff employment decisions that promote an educational milieu consistent with regulating and accrediting organizations.

Job Requirements:

Earned doctoral degree in nursing, experience teaching in the clinical setting and simulation.  Current California RN License.  Proof of current Clinical Practice.
