Established in 1971, the USD School of Law clinical legal education program is comprised of twelve direct client services legal clinics (Appellate Clinic, Civil Clinic, Education & Disability Clinic, Entrepreneurship Clinic, Federal Tax Clinic, Housing Rights Clinic, Immigration Clinic, State Income Tax—California Clinic, State Sales & Use—California Clinic, Veterans Clinic, Women’s Clinic, and Workers’ Rights Clinic). The Legal Clinics bridge the gap between theoretical education and practical legal skills. The Legal Clinics strive to provide outstanding clinical training to law students and exceptional legal services for low-income individuals most in need in the San Diego community.
Applicants should have substantial legal practice experience and strong experience or interest in supervising law students and/or junior attorneys. This position will require the successful candidate to teach, practice law, and engage in clinical legal scholarship.
We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and interests that complement our existing clinical program.
