| Detailed Description: |
The Department of Communication in the College of Arts and Sciences at University of San Diego (USD) is seeking a Professor of Practice specializing in public relations (PR) to begin in the Spring 2025 semester. The Professor of Practice should be able to teach lower-division courses in public speaking and PR, and upper-division courses in PR, strategic communication, and digital analytics. The Department of Communication will begin offering a minor in PR in the fall 2024 semester. The Professor of Practice would have administrative duties within the minor. This would entail advising students within the minor, implementing professional development events for students, and organizing/advising a chapter of PRSSA.
