The Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering at USD invites applications for faculty that can help the school develop stronger leadership and teaching capacity in artificial intelligence and/or data science (AI/DS). We are seeking a cluster of faculty members who will work in support of USD’s vision by working as teacher-scholars to address humanity’s urgent challenges and develop the next generation of changemaking computer scientists and engineers. We seek candidates who have demonstrated expertise/experience in data science and/or artificial intelligence. We hope to hire, at minimum, one senior faculty member and several early careers faculty members to teach topics in AI/DS and/or help in designing courses, which can be in the context of any school undergraduate major. Candidates should also be able and desirous to teach courses other than AI/DS within one of the SMSE majors.

The University of San Diego, Professional and Continuing Education is looking for an adjunct faculty member to teach and/or develop an online class for our Medical Billing and Coding course. The course is offered in the online self-paced format and students have 6 months to complete it.
